CD Changer Jammed

I recently bought a 94 Camry LE coupe. It has a 6 disc cd changer with the CD deck in the trunk. When I first turned on the car, the CD changer had an "Err3" message. The radio and tape deck else work just fine. I check out the CD changer, and the "stacker" is stuck in there. I pressed eject, and I just hear the gears attempting to eject, with nothing happening. I tried to eject it with the car off, on ACC, and even with the radio or CD changer selected. Nothing.

Would forcing the CD stacker out be a good idea? Is getting a custom CD deck on the dash be ok to do? I had a Caddy, and it was a nightmare putting in a Kenwood deck.
