Trooper76
:!: I have a 2002 Avalon XLS. Recently the EFI Relay located under the hood has started clicking when the key is out of the ignition switch, it does not happen if the key is in the ignition. I have tried changing the relay, to no avail. I checked with a local dealer, and they told me to unplug the door chime under the dash. I did this and the result was that the clicking occurred with the key in or out of the ignition. This malady seems to have started after a car wash. Has anyone else experienced this problem or does anyone know the cause and a fix? Thanks
Leighcm
I had something similar when a wiring harness got wet in the car wash...when it dried, it was fine. Is your issue all the time, or just immediately after getting wet?

It started after a car wash, but the car hasn't been wet since and still occurs intermittently
