Micro Etch Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 Been offered a Toyota Publica 1968 plus minus, has been partially restored, about 90% complete, does anyone know what it is worth? it is a left hand drive, has been in Johannesburg all its life NO RUST. they say that there are only 2 in South Africa, are they common in USA? Leighcm Posted September 18, 2008 Share Posted September 18, 2008 We probably can't help much with the value...our market here in the US is wildly different from yours, and that car falls into the classic car category, which doesn't have a book value. You should probably find an classic car appraiser or dealer in Johannesburg that could give you an idea. That being said, I can't imagine it could possibly be worth more than a few thousand dollars, depending on condition and the quality of restoration.
