Need FEEDBACK on resetting 2015 highlander TPMS system

TPMS light is off for the first 2 minutes of driving then the TPMS dash light flashes intermittently and then after a few more minutes the TPMS dash light just stays on.  So, first 5 minutes of driving its OK; then light starts flashing; then it goes on and stays on but occasionally goes off for a while.

Had all four tire TPMS sensors checked with TPMS wifi meter and at that time all four were OK and transmitting) but it may be that at lease one is intermittent since they are 8 years old now.

I've read that the first thing one might do is to reset the TMPS sensors (not by pressing the reset button as this just resets the minimum tire pressure for light activation).  I'm told that the following procedure can reset all of the TPMS sensors if they (and their batteries) are still GOOD:

1. Put about 5 more PSI than the tire pressure is rated for in all tires.

2. Reduce pressure in all four tires DOWN TO 10 PSI

3. Put in the correct tire pressure in all four tires and run the tires 3-4 miles (maybe 15 minutes) to have the system reset itself.

CAN ANYONE VERIFY THAT THIS PROCEDURE WORKS (or does it need to be modified)
