2007-2009 Camry 4 Cylinder Misfire & Oil Consumption Solved

Oil Burner

Recommended Posts

The 2007 thru 2009 engines 4 cylinder engines(2.4 L4 DOHC 16V) are known and documented to be bad at 140,000 miles. The rings pass oil (high oil consumption). Eventually, they leak so much oil, that you will find yourself repeatedly replacing coil packs. This is because a bad spark plug or a fouled spark plug is forcing the computer to push the coil pack harder in order to create a spark and that destroys the coil pack. At that point, replace/rebuild the engine or paint the car lemon yellow and park it in front of a Toyota dealership. Mine's for sale... any takers?
