LonnieC56 Posted October 15, 2023 Share Posted October 15, 2023 Working on my Gen 3 (94) Camry LE 2.2. The OD quit engaging, later the speedometer went off - it reads 10-20mph slower than true speed. I've checked all the "usual suspects" about the OD - the button, throttle position sensor was replaced & rechecked, Knock sensor, even the brakelight sensor module was changed. After the speedometer problem cropped up, I changed the speed sensor. Toyota paperwork OD troubleshooting had me unplug the electronics from the trans, drive it & shift it manually - OD engaged as it should. I seem to be down to the ECM, but I keep seeing things about the instrument panel condenser/capacitors. Can anyone help determine? I don't mind buying parts, but I'm tired of not getting any results.
