Raf Posted June 20, 2023 Share Posted June 20, 2023 Matrix 2004 5 speed. Driver cv axle side broke from the inner side not while driving but in a parking lot. Turned the engine on and notice the problem. Replaced the driver side cv axle and seal. Cv axle still leaking. Lift the car and turn the engine on while the front wheels are spinning no leak. If we stoped the driver side tire the leak starts. The mechanic had a hard time finding the right cv axle. Found one in Oreilly’s but I think is the wrong part. The mechanic thinks the carrier form the tranny or something else on the tranny got damage. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
