camryboi04 Posted May 23, 2023 Share Posted May 23, 2023 I have a 2004 Camry with the 2az fe 4 cylinder and about 170,000 miles on it. lately ive noticed when it sits for longer than 8 hours or so, when I go to start it, it ignites but it stutters for about 5 seconds and I have to continue to crank it before the engine revs up and then it steadily idles like it normally would. so far ive replaced spark plugs. cleaned the maf sensor. replaced pcv valve. replaced air filter. and used sea foam to clean the fuel system but it still does this. im thinking its the fuel check valve (if it has one) the fuel pump or the coil packs but I dont know for certain. any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
