bradyoung
Here is what I have. A 2003 Camry LE. $30,000 Miles. A few days ago I started hearing a smal low frequency rumbling/grindind in the steeing column whe doing sharp turn in parking etc. Thris GRRRR in specific positions of the sterring column I would like some advice. I called my trusted Toyota Dealer (this is my sixth Toyrota with them} and I didnt get a response but "bring it in". From what I can tell on the internet, there have been problems befoe. I know that I will need to bring the car in. Any real help of the problem and cost? Brad
Stonestar
Well, it definitely does not look like an isolated incident... http://www.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/Camry/2003/ If you drill down into their complaint data it has average repair costs... http://www.carcomplaints.com/Toyota/Camry/...ing_wheel.shtml Good luck! Leighcm
There may be a TSB or recall on it, in which case you may receive some factory assistance on parts or labor. It seems like I've heard of this problem before.
