Yes, I was surprised because the tube was dripping, and it was dripping at a rate that seemed kinda' normal, but it did turn out to be clogged up inside the very top of the drain tube, and I think that it was more a bit of the insulation that keeps the evaporator from jiggling and banging around inside the enclosure than anything like dirt or dust. That insulation does go bad over time, and sheds some material. (I got all this information only after I finally got my mechanic friend to look at it. It was diagnosed and repaired in twenty minutes)
When that was cleared out, I dropped about a pint of water on the floor, and after that, the drain tube practically RUNS water, not drips it. It appears to be THAT efficient. Also, since this car was bought used, and I had no experience with Camry, I noticed that the climate control immediately became more accurate, the compressor cycled more, and the temperature dial was more useful.
And, since I could run the ac constantly, the carpet was dried out effectively by the dryer air.
