Just a quick question...I hope. I have recently purchased a Toyota Highlander 2005, it is the V6 model and the type of engine is 3MZ-FE, 6 cylinder V type 4 cycle. I can confirm it is a VVT-i. I don't have a lot of mechanical experience or knowledge but I have been trying to figure out if this engine is an interference engine or not. I have been looking around for the information but it doesn't seem like there is a consensus, but rather quite a few conflicting information.
Is the engine an interference or not? Any ideas? Thanks very much in advance.
