EdM, you're getting close. I have a '90 Celica GTS with 310K plus miles on the original motor. Only maintenance has been performed on this awesome motor; timing belts, oil changes, plugs, ect... This car has sold me on Toyota. So much, I have 2 other Toyota products; 4 Runner (121K) and a Scion tC (88500). Seems to me though, you're driving the wheels off your Solara; 12 years old and close to 300K. Nice!
