  1. Hi i have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma every time i start the car the Temperature Gage always reads at the midway point and stays there all the time. The engine runs rough and shakes allot although i think it i running on 3 cylinders. It's 2.4L engine i think the cause of this problem are the spark plug cables one time while i checking them car i got shocked please help and advice. Here is a list of thing i have done to the car, I have tried replacing the spark plugs i removed the valve cover to replace a leaky cracked gasket. I have also removed the instrument cluster and checked in an attempt to fir my temperature gauge. It goes through spark plugs really fast i also replaced the spark plug tube seals but other that that she's a great truck with cosmetic problems. Thanks for all of your help.
