Okay, checked out Wikipedia; 6 spd for GTS, does the 2 zz-GE fit on the 5spd? Also variable valve timing, not sure about cam. Still, headers and exhaust. Greg.g.

Hi all, new Toyota owner as of tomorrow. Yes purchase will complete Sat. Buying a 2002 Celica GT, needs another engine. Would like to install a GTS engine, not sure if transmission is compatible. Right now it has stock 5spd manual trans. for Gt. Also, since engine will on stand, thinking of installing mild cam. We have emissions here. Headers, exhaust, any recommendations for brand?
