I wondering if I can get away with doing a light polish on this crank journal and putting a new bearing in it. Maybe resize the rod. Can I get away with this? Machine shop said it may last a month. I want to use a caliper that measures up to 5/10000 of an inch to see if the crank journal is out of round. Possible? I am also looking for a used engine. 250 384 1024.
