  1. I hope it's the cable! And yes! I will include photos. She is being covered with buttons (sewing buttons) ... all about women & reuse & transforming reality & (of course) Gertrude Stein. My camera is temporarily misplaced, but I'll add some as soon as I find it! Thanks for your help! I will let you know what happens! :)
  2. And yeah, and windows are manual, not power. I'd like to take the skin off and replace it ... that's what really needs replacing ... it's rusty. Many thanks for your help!
  3. My speedometer has recently just stopped. I can't find any used online ... is this an easy fix? btw, my car is an art car, so I'm pretty attached to her, even though she's old, hence, the many questions about repairing on my own. peace & thanks!
  4. I have an old corolla (1991) who's driver's side door sticks open when it freezes. I have some other "door problems" to take care of, and I wondered if anyone can give me some advice. Someone suggested that I need to grease the latch on the inside. Here's what happens: When it's very cold (single digits and below) I can open the door from the outside, but when I try to close it from the inside, it just bounces back open. The latch won't click. After running for a long time (and warming up) or sitting in the sun, the latch will eventually release. Since I have some other issues (inside handle needs replacing, window crank needs oil, and I have to replace the driver's side mirror) I am thinking about taking the door apart. Can anyone offer suggestions? I've never done this before, and have heard it' not easy. Many thanks.
