Just wanted to say to everyone. Hope to learn from the rest of you. I just got a 2009 Camry XLE without NAV (Garmin 850 on dash) or SatRad (I had my Sirius radio installed in the center compartment). Thanks for starting and keeping this site active. Seymour

I just got a new (2009) Camry XLE with the Smart Key Entry System. While I was having my SatRad installed at BestBuy they also attemped to install a remote starter for me. The bypass units they had would not work, and they told I would have to buy the factory unit from Toyota. That's a rather expensive option. Has anyone had success with a 3rd party unit? TIA,
