  1. the ecm stops the engine from shifting into overdrive when cold to warm up the engine faster. this normal.
  2. that is normal for all newer corollas. there is enough oil left on bearings to prevent any damage. just make sure to change your oil every 3000 miles
  3. throttle body/plate gets carbon on it and reduces the amount of air getting to the engine. this causes the engine to be lean. get intake cleaner and spray throttle plate. don't be afraid of using to much the more the better and wipe the plate with a rag or old toothbrush. when spraying hold the throttle open to get the inside part of the plate. a gunked up throttle plate will affect idle. a lean condition will cause a low idle. throttle postion has everything to do with idle ecspecialy cold. electronic throttle is not affected by carbon nearly as much as cable control.
