I recently replaced the factory tires, Goodyear, with tires recommended by my dealer, Yokohama brand. I do not know the specific model of either, but I do know that my 2007 Prius averaged 48MPG with the BF Goodrich tires, and now only averages 41MPG with the Yokohamas. I am not happy about that loss of mpg. I have contacted the dealer but they are playing dumb about this, like they have no idea why I would be losing mpg. I am also interested in hearing others' experiences with this.
