i had the same issue . i put some Lub on the trotle mecanism and still doing the same then , as i was checking where the cable was coming from . i realized it was not coming from the pedal directly , it was coming from the cruise control bloc wich is under a black plastic cover on front on the engine . i removed the cover , and i lubricated the parts . it is all ok now
