thanks, i'll be cutting the bolt off with hacksaw if I can't figure it out. Anybody know the size so I can get a replacement? Thanks

Hello new to the forum. I am trying to replace my alternator on my 90 corolla sr5 wagon but the lower alternator bolt feels weird. It got a funny shaped piece of metal on one end and a bolt on the other. If i keep turning it, it doesn't loosen. I've tried keeping that funny shaped piece of metal still while turning bolt but it still does not loosen. is there a trick to it or did i strip bolt. any help appreciated thanks
