I just purchased a used 2020 Prius Prime. The charging cable locks into place normally and charges the car to 100%. However, when removing the charging cable it takes a minute or so for the lock to release. I've tried pushing the unlock button on the car repeatedly as well as the release button on the cable. The proximity of the key fob to the cable lock seems to have no effect. it can stay locked into place for over a minute while trying to release it and then it suddenly releases. Is this normal? Am I doing something wrong? Or is this a sign that the locking mechanism is failing?
