  1. I'm now getting the same message and have to enter my pin. I had to have the dealer do a software update and also reset the vehicle (for a totally different issue) several weeks ago, and this message just started. Several times recently when I start the vehicle the multimedia screen starts up, then goes black and starts up again. Not every time. If you get some resolution from your dealership, please share their response. It might be helpful for my issue..
  2. Further update: After a software update by the dealership, a complete shut down of systems and a reboot, and a reconnect of the app (all for a separate navigation issue) the navigation will still not show home address. At this point I just give up. Again, thanks Toyota for being totally unresponsive to this issue.
  3. UPDATE. After 2 1/2 days at the dealership. The final guess was to disconnect the battery for a half hour and disconnect my car from the app. I had to reconnect my car to the app (just like when you first get your car). It was a pain, especially since all my settings were wiped out and I had to start all over again. The navigation didn't work quite right at first. I kept getting a new message that said "frequency out of range". However, strangely after about 48 hours the navigation has started working like it is suppose to. I hope the problem was solved by the reboot, but time will tell. After all, it worked just fine for 8 months prior. I still believe there is a software problem that Toyota hasn't found yet. I just hope it doesn't extend to other systems.
  4. I previously posted about the navigation on my 2023 Venza not displaying my home address. Now the nav system will not give me directiions. I get a "system busy try again later" response. This happens when I use voice commands or when I try using the "recent" feature. When I am able to manually put in a destination it says that the destination exceeds map distance capabilities even when the destination is within a few miles of my current location. The map itself displays my current position and displays the movement of the vehicle. It just won't give me directions. The dealership is puzzled and want me to leave the vehicle with them for a few days so they can contact Toyota and try an figure out what the software problem is. I just hope that this is not symptomatice of other software problems with the vehicle. This visit to the dealership will represent the 5th time in 8 months that I've had the car in for an issue. Sure doesn't say much about the Venza.
  5. Thanks for the reply. However, my address is already in the app. I am using a Samsung S23 phone and in my app, there is no pushpin at the bottom of any of the screens I look at. I'm also now having other troubles with the navigation system, but I will post another message about that.
  6. UPDATE: I contacted Toyota and this is the response I got. We apologize for the navigation concerns you have experienced with adding you address. Updates are made throughout the year and an active Drive Connect (or Dynamic Navigation) system may provide an update in the future for this address. My dealership gave me a similar response. Bottom line appears to be that someday Toyota may update something that may or may not solve my problem. Way to go Toyota. After my one year trial is up, there is no way that Toyota will ever see a dime from me to use there navigation system.
  7. I am unable to enter a home address and I do not get any traffic information. The navigation itself works. It will get me from point A to point B. But if I ask it to take me home it says there is no home listed. I've looked on the preferences and there is no way to enter a home address. The manual says the profile, with my address in it, should load automatically. It does not. I've signed in and out of the app multiple times and no luck. The only traffic alert I get is in one location near my house and it happens all the time even when I am the only person on the road. Other apps and connections work just fine. My profile shows on the screen as well. It's just in the navigation app that I'm having problems. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
