Hello, Looking around the web for some info on my Camry and found this spot. Long time Toyota owner and current owner of a 2018 Camry XLE. It was a loaner/utiliy vehicle for a dealer in the area. 2 yo when I got it with 17k. Replaced a 2009 LE with <150 that had starting using oil.I was shocked too!
Love my current XLE, Wind Chill finish, Panoramic roof, etc. I started my Trail of Toyotas with a '71 Hi-Lux pick-up. The model with the turn signals on the fenders like an FJ-40. Then I graduated to a '71 Land Cruiser FJ-40, added a second 72 FJ-40, then my stellar '75. Bought it in '84 or '85 off a Subaru lot. Super clean and only 28K.The owner had used it to tow his boat to the lake and once to Florida, from VT. Jump ahead to 1999 and my first Camry an '86, Great car but it was stolen and recovered. The thief's beat the crap out of it and it never was the same. Ahead again to 2009 when I traded my wonderful Ford F-150XL during the Cash for Clunkers program on the slightly used (7K) '09 LE I mentioned.
I don't work on my current car but I hope to use this resource for issues I can deal with. Like, yesterday I dropped my glasses getting out and the lens popped out. Of course it went under the cover of something under my seat! And I'm starting to have issues with the Panoramic roof leaking.
