  1. So, I understand this is a common issue. The JBL audio system is disabled when there is no NAV map DVD in the drive. Or, when there is an electrical disruption the audio screen displays 'No map DVD, insert map DVD" This was my issue. I had pulled fuses to check the rear door gate. This disrupted the audio system as well. I had no map DVD in the system at the time and the audio system worked fine. Now the system has reset requiring a map DVD. I purchased and updated version and the map DVD will attempt to load but there is a loud clicking noise like the drive motor will not spin the DVD, then it ejects the DVD. I've seen this described as "The click of death". Is the DVD drive shot? Are there any DYI fixes for this? Or will the DVD drive need replaced? Thanks
