OK, first, I can't have a CD player in my car. Ugh! So, I "ripped" a few of my audio books onto a thumb drive like people on this forum suggested. Now, my Venza is having a problem with the thumb drive. It worked just fine until I added more discs to the thumb drive. Then, after plugging it back in, clicking on "Browse", my car gets stuck on "Gathering information from the device..." . This happened before, and I thought that it was because I was using an old thumb drive. So, I bought a new one. But now, it's happened again! After a few days though, it finally works! What the heck is the Venza's computer system doing? Is it reading and sending off the audio information to a "big brother" or something? Why does it take several days for it to finally let me play the tracks?
