On a 1990 Corolla which sensors are required by the ECU to ground the Injectors (create an injector pulse)? The Corolla has spark, fuel pressure and 12+ volts to each of 4 injectors. Where are the ground connection locations for the ECU although if there is spark the ground connections for the ECU I assume are functional?

So.......where is the ECU located on a 1990 Corolla and how do I remove the ECU? The ECU (89661-12490) is loocated near the floor in front of the front console. Remove 4 screws from the two sides of the front console. Remove 3 screws from the sides and top of rear console. Slide the rear console to the rear a couple inches and lift out the front console. Remove the drivers side front carpet cover (one plastic insert remove from inside and one plastic nut on drivers side floor board from outside). Remove two bolts from inside under the cup holder holding the ECU bracket to the floor. From the drivers side of the carpet cover access unscrew two small phiips screws from the drivers side/rear of the ECU. Pull the ECU out on the drivers side and disconnect the two electrical connectors by depressing the top locks on each connector. Remove the ECU (89661-12490). There are many 89661-12490 ECUs on Ebay for $25 more or less.

Toyota Corolla 16 valve......Has fuel pressure, spark and new Injectors.... But...... no injector pulse before or after new injectors. I assume the ECU is behind the ash tray but not sure how to get to it??? I assume crank sensor is functioning with spark functioning? Has power to all 4 injectors with key on.....
