Well, the hold ended up being only 16 days. Car arrived at dealer with no indication of any issues. Had options added (hitch and roof bars). Arranged shipping to california and it arrived this past Tuesday. Loving it and learning all the new technology Toyota added with the 2020 redesign.

I'm trying to purchase a new Highlander. I put a deposit on one that was on its way from the factory in Indiana. It was on the train and arrived in Denver about a week ago. It made it off the train to the staging yard waiting to be trucked to the dealer. The dealer just called me and said all Highlanders are being held for (up to??) 60 days for technical inspection. He has no further info. Does anyone know what is going on? Is this happening in other cities? Any insight will be appreciated.

I have a 2018 Limited and tow a TT around 3200 lbs using a Blue Ox weight dist hitch. Bought it on eTrailer and had my RV shop do the install. Blue Ox seemed to have the best reviews and praise for its ease of use. They have various models depending on the weight of your TT. I've been very pleased with mine. Gives a solid stable ride with no sway.
