  1. Not a formula.. Just wanted to know if there was anything to be careful about when raising the engine or any helpful tips in replacing these two particular mounts. Thanks.
  2. Does anyone know how to change the rear engine mount and the transmission mount on a 95 2.2L camry? I have already changed out the front motor mount and the top torque mount.
  3. Just saw the date on this thread sorry :) Loosen top bolt, remove lower bolts or nuts from bottom of front engine mount. Then place jack under the engine and raise the engine up enough to remove the mount. Reverse to install. You don't have to remove the radiator or anything else. Maybe the lower engine covers thats about it.
  4. I was wondering if anyone knew the proper way to remove the front motor mount. Is there a trick to it? My first guess is the radiator needs to be removed. Is this anywhere close to the correct method? Just doesn't appear to be enough room. Thanks.
  5. Was looking over my relatives car (95 camry xle 4 cylinder) and noticed the dog bone motor mount was broken. Does this mount usually break when the other motor mounts start to fail? Interested in finding out the order of the motor mount failure most common on this car. Is the dog bone mount broken because it had more wear due to the front motor mount failing. Since the dog bone mount is broken which other mounts would likely be failing. The car has 130,000 miles on it. The steering wheels vibrates while stopped at traffic lights. Any info would be great. Also, I picked up the "dog bone" motor mount today, would it be a mistake to put that on without replacing the other mounts at the same time or at least the front hydraulic mount. Not changing the other damaged mounts wouldn't this cause the new "dog bone" mount to prematurely fail due to the added stress.
