There is a whining sound coming from my steering wheel when I turn it at a stop. My mechanic says it is nothing I should be concerned about but I don't believe him. Does anyone know what could be causing this?

I've finally ordered 4 GR-2 KYB shocks for my camry. I can't wait to install them and check the difference. Thanks everyone for the advice. I'll update when I install them.
After 3 months and 700 miles the KYB shocks I installed are stiff and noisy. The ride is horrible. OEM shocks are far much better. I just wasted my money. would be ordering OEM shocks soon.

I have been having problems with my keyless remote and keys. Lock did not respond right away first. I had to push the remote several times. It was getting worse. I cleaned up. It was dusty inside. It unlocks and locks after I push several times. Slightly better now.It has a brand new battery. Another problem is I cannot unlock or lock with keys. The car also has one month old battery. Should I buy a new keyless remote?
Any suggestions?
May I suggest you purchase another keyless remote. I had your experience about a year ago. It's quite frustrating when you walk up to your parked car and you can't open your car door. Worse thing is people passing by staring glancing in your direction. I bought a new remote and programmed it to work with my car. New remote has lasted up to a year and still going strong.

I think your problem could be a low idle speed. Normal idle speed should be around 650-700 RPM. There are aftermarket spare parts that are manufactured with OEM specifications. These are as good as OEM parts.
