I would like to ask an advice, i have an auto trans Corolla, I have a prob getting smooth, it delays, (exple 22miles for a second trans°.

What could be the prob?

Unfortunately there is no tachometer in my car for me to see the mouvment of the needle but when i feel there is a need for shifting from the sound of the engine, i just release a bit the accelerator which facilitates the shifting. Is that normal?

Yes i do notice a difference when it is about to shift, the shifting is not smooth, it jumps a bit before it shifts to a next gear.

It is an automatic transmission but it takes time to change to a next gear even to a higher speed.

could anyone help me with my Toyota (1988), i hardly get the second gone through, i need to accelefrate to a high speed of about 80 km/h to get changed to a second gear.
