[Squeaking steering wheel in 2002 Camry]

I'll try to find it on my server and send it to an email address if you want. But it was really more or less some instructions on how to remove the steering wheel shaft cover to get in there with lubricant. You're not having any resistance in steering are you? Just squeak, right?

Just got an 03 Avalon XLS and noticed the creak from near the steering column. Steering is not a problem, that's smooth as silk, but the noise drives me nuts at times!

I would be interested in hearing more about the tech bulletin if that info is available.

The only gripe I have is a minor "creak" that appears to be coming from the steering column/dash. Searching Google seems to have turned up several Toyota owners commenting on such a creak/rattle in their own vehicles.

Guess I will just have to turn up the JBL audio system to drown it out! :)
