MrT1063
There are two oil lines on my 2009 Highlander Limited. They are a combination of metal and rubber. The oil cooler line on my Highlander already blew and Im being proactive and replacing the VVT-i oil cooler line at my own expense. These lines blowing can lead to engine destruction and possible accident depending on where you are when they blow. Poor design now replaced by all metal lines. Dtown40
I had to have mine replaced on my 2012 a few years ago. The dealer was very nice about it and gave me a loaner for the day. If memory serves, I believe it was a recall issue or service campaign issue and Toyota send me a notice on it.
