Yotaganghawaii
Hi there! Just looking for some advicE i currently own a 2018 Toyota Tacoma and I lifted it 3” a few years ago and is sitting on 275/65/18 nitto ridge grapplers. I recently bought new tires(285/75/18 Yokohama Geolandars g003) and was wanting to know whether or not my fin on my truck would hit that wood piece on the garage when going in. Anyone can figure out how much clearance I would get with the new tires on?
Toyota Owners Club
wow! that's close. I suppose you could get an overall rolling diameter of a new tire by going into a tire shop and asking them if they could measure one up and add that dimension to your existing setup
TL Baines
From my many years of working for Goodyear Tire, the Overall Diameter (OD) for your new tire is 34.8" while your old tire is 32.01. You went from a 65 series to a 75 series which would make the tire taller. See the attachments for the diagram as well as recommendations. Hope this helps.
