Leighcm
I don't know the answer for sure, but my inclination would be to say no...the Celica motor was built in partnership with Yamaha, and I believe a lot of the internals are quite different. ShinmaTsunami
Does anyone know if the cams from a celica will fit in the head of a corolla , and if the vvti will still work the same if i switch out the cams? ;) That depends on the engine code. Some Celi's were build with a 4a/7a class engine. If that's the case, then they would fit in the rolla. But they're the same engine, so it would be pointless. Also, if it's a zz class engine, then you'd be better off swapping the whole engine. That is to say, swapping a 2zz-ge from the Celica GT-S with your 1zz-fe. The 2zz had alot more after market options btw.
