TIGGER
Does anyone know the total maximum towing weight that a Toyota Prius could tow?
fidgits
It should tell you that in the manual, I looked on the Toyota website, and it had n/a for the towing specs...
culliganman
Not good news about towing. According to the Prius owner's manual towing is taboo. I do think if you can find mounting locations (which I've tried to locate) I would think minimal loads like motorcycle or snowmobile, or a jet ski could be trailered and not be detremental to the car. Of course Toyota might have a different opinion. Warrantee in question. Culliganman (04 Prius w/ 16K)(free us Prius)

LizAlice L
Hello! I own (I bought new) a 2007 Prius Hybrid about (I've driven 175,000miles now) and never given me any problem at all. I was told by the dealer to have a transmission fluid done. I have been reading blogs on Toyota Prius and some of the things I've read stated that "it's not needed to be change because apparently its transmission fluid is good for life and that need not be touched at all". Is this true? Need help
Bralsm
It is not designed to tow. The repair bill might buy a pickup which IS designed to pull. You have to decide: repaired car or a pickup you needed in the first place. Bral
