Tommy Posted April 26, 2006 Share Posted April 26, 2006 I need help. I just purchased a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and have ordered a set of lighted running boards. The lights are to be tied into the dome lamp circuit. I need to know which wire to tap into and where the best spot to find the wire would be. The dome lamp has three wires.......one white which brings power to the dome lamp from the engine fuse box. the second is blue and it feeds back to the ECU, and the third a grey wire looks like it feed back to the door switches. The door switches have a greenw/yellow strip coming from them and they ground to make the dome light work, when the button is released. I check some of the wires in the left tray under the step plate, but could not find one that had power for the dome light. The fused circuit is fuse #22 in the engine fuse box.
