Aldo Ortiz Posted September 18, 2019 Share Posted September 18, 2019 Hey, Has anyone come across and issue where your toyota completely shuts down when placed in Neutral? My car's engine shuts down when in neutral, i can turn it back on without any issues and then put in on drive, but if I change gears from drive to park and pass 'neutral' the car will then shut off again. So, since I reported the incident of the car shutting down when downshifting to Neutral it has not happened since then. However, the L remains ON on the gear dashboard. I'm going to take a picture of it so I can show it, maybe that my clear up what I'm trying to explain. I'm planning on taking it in to a shop here that specialize on Toyota's.
