Christopher Steele
Leaking fuel injector. I've a friend with a 2001 Camry. It has a V6, and automatic transmission. One of the fuel injectors was leaking (at the rail, I assume) so he tightened that. ThatĀ stopped the leak, but now he is wondering if he should: 1. replace all the injectors (if so, how critical is this); 2. and/or can these leaks be cured with the installation of new O-rings? Thank you, people, for any asistance you're willing to provide. !! Christopher
Stuart Swanson
I had a 1999 Mustang gt that was doing the same thing on one injector, I replaced all the O-rings and that fixed mine.

Christopher Steele
Thank you, Stuart and the "Club."Ā Good news and I'll pass it along. Kudos!! Can either of you provideĀ me with partĀ numbers (or some such) that will fit this car? When I do a search on Amazon (for instance) different sets that I am told will fit this car, but the photos of the different set are so very different. Thanks! Toyota Owners Club
I wouldn't take a chance with fitting the wrong seals and maybe best to source them directly from Toyota as they wouldn't be too expensive. Usually, the issue is with selecting the correct type of seal (as in the correct material it is constructed of as it has to be resistant to fuel, etc) so definitely would not recommend buying something that you are not 100% sure is correct for the purpose.
