joehyundai
My buddy recently purchased a 1993 tercel with only 30K on the motor and 112k on the clock. It's a base car with a 4speed and dealer AC. I like to auto-x and we thought it would be fun to take the little toy for a run around the cones. We threw on my extra set potenzas with 15x6" rims. When we got to the event he did ok with it, but I felt he wasn't using the car to its potential. Afterwards we had some "fun runs" and I decided to give it a try myself. Without any practice I was able to beat my best time of the day (in my Hyundai) by .8seconds!!! I thought "what a great little autoxer! Let's start modifying it" As it turns out, I'm having trouble finding parts for it..... Does have the same suspension as a Paseo? what is the designation of the 1.5L engine? Are there any parts available for it? We would like to make an STS car out of it. Any help would be appreciated :)
fidgits
sounds interesting... you should be able to get parts from Japan..
Leighcm
Sounds like fun! I don't have any advice on the parts (other than maybe contacting TRD, Stillen, or Rod Millen)...but I would like to hear more about future autocrossing!

Leighcm
Looks like fun...and the car looks very clean, especially for that age.

I work for a dealership and took the car in on trade. It was a one owner, that was very well maintained.
