Tarpan Posted February 8, 2006 Share Posted February 8, 2006 Hi, My wife has 2002 Rav4 (manual tranny). I noticed the weird behaivor: on speed over 60mph (RPMs over 3000) if I put it to the Neutral, the engine RPMs stay high. When I slow down to 35-40 mpg, RPMs drops to the normal Idle rate. Never see it like that on any another car/truck. Questions: - Is it normal by any chance? (does not make sence to me) - Any ideas what is wrong? - I still have powertrain warranty. Does this problem fall under the powertrain warranty?
