dallfo Posted April 27, 2014 Share Posted April 27, 2014 I have just ordered a 2014 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Limited Platinum. I live in Colorado and like to climb mountains. I know it's not an off-road vehicle, but is it capable of getting me to the trailheads where I can start hiking? The roads to trailheads would be somewhat rocky dirt mountain roads. The vehicle has every option and accessory available including running boards. Is the hybrid up to some minor rocky dirt roads or not? Will the running boards be a problem? Thank you.
