ValGem
My 2010 Camry has 62,000 miles on it and a mechanic at Midas said my front struts are leaking and need to be replaced at a cost of $1,000: ($240 x 2 struts) + $209 for labor + ($180 for sway bar links + $56.92 labor). Do these prices sound typical for this repair?
greggolden
I have about the same mileage on my 2011 Camry and no strut problems yet. I don't know what the price should be. But it's a straightforward question, so call by phone, to the Toyota dealer and someplace like Pep Boys Auto. If all three places have the same price, I guess you are stuck.
