hal9000
Are there options to repair and maintainence besides the dealer when it comes to Hybrids? Does anyone know how to reset the computer so the "Maintenence Req'd message can be taken off?
fidgits
Well, you can have your car serviced wherever you want, i'm pretty sure you will find at least one independant mechanic in your area who has experience.
lexus
you dont have to get it done at the dealer but for oil changes and stuff its about the same or cheaper than a non dealer
Leighcm
If I were you, I'd feel much more comfortable taking it to the dealer...just for the very simple reason that it's a Hybrid, not a regular car.

The hybrid is a very technologically advanced vehicle which you paid alot of money for and which has a very long warranty only the dealer will be trained and aware of any updates or problems with this vehicle. cheaper isn't better.
