lenore
Can anybody tell me how the V8 forerunner does pulling a full size trailer say 23 ft and about 4000 lbs? I was considering a Tundra, but thought the 7 passenger seating and forerunner may be the ticket for my camping and rv needs.
Butch
Sorry, I don't have an answer for you. I am new here. Just registered and logged in. I have about the same question. Last summer I bought a new 07 4runner with a v-6. At the time I was not thinking about pulling a camper but now am wanting to tow small camper and wondering if anyone can give any statistics or info. Will they hold up OK? Does it have enough power? The book says it has 5000 lb towing capacity. Can anyone give advice?
Leighcm
4,000 pounds should be no problem. Just make sure you have the proper equipment.
DenS
I have a 2013 4Runner and I am buying a 4000 lb travel trailer which is the heaviest allowed before added gear. I can't find a place to mount the trailer brake control and where is the wiring harness it plugs into?
