billhoneywell
Hello All I need to get a new car, but I want to get a prctical one. I just got back from Norway and checked out the Toyota Avensis. I really like that car, but there's nothing like it here in the US. I want a toyota that I can go to work in and drive around town, but I also want to fold down the seats and sleep in on camping trips. Does anyone have any good suggestions? Thanks

fidgits
surely a stationwaggon would be your best bet? turn the load space into a make-shift bed...

stevelaw
You know, the rear seats in the Camry fold all the way down. Then you can put a sleeping bag and your feet are in the trunk, your head and shoulders are on the back seats. Put the front seats all the way forward for some more room. Won't work with girlfriend though: hole between back seat and trunk won't fit 2 people.
