Dans06Tacoma
I own a 2006 Tacoma 2.7 Liter Automatic. I've owned it since new. Great truck. However, The 4 Speed Automatic (or is it a 5 speed automatic?)...is a bit of a dog I've learned over the years. Anyone know how to update or modify the software via a chip, to help the truck utilize its gearing better, via the engine, gearbox - for better pep? I have resorted more often nowadays, to using the automatic, shifter and going into 2nd or third, upon acceleration, as quite often, the computer seems to lag causing the automatic shifting to lag and be quite the dog (bog down) upon acceleration. Anyone have helpful tech tips, do tell?! Thanks. ;)
