Loni
I love my '86 toyota pick-up. I'm now 292K and coming up on 300K this year (really excited). I perform my own oil changes and most of my own repairs (which is not always easy when you're a 100lb woman and the wheel weighs almost as much). This car has been great to me over the years and hoping to keep her running 'till 400K+. By the way, I'm find synthetic oils seem to make a difference in the engine performance when I switched. woodye85741
Wowee, I'll try my best to play catch-up. Bought mine used almost year ago. I only commute 60 miles per day with the occasional trips of 200 miles R/T. Still 30 MPG. Trunk gasket seals allow rain to settle under spare tire so I popped out rubber plugs. Lost 'em. Now water pools up in fender/side wells either side of spare tire. Thinking about punching drain hole so's water drains out. Oxidized cabin roof with hammer dents (not me). Champagne body with blue RF fender,RF door is yellow. Door panels let draft in and rubber sticks so window crank is mighty tough. Great heater, not much to look at,it starts and stops, auto shift lever rattles. What can I say ?
