ajbacon Posted March 14, 2010 Share Posted March 14, 2010 Ok so...i have a 1986 supra non turbo, i took the intake off to get at my power steering pump got everything back together properly and now the car won't start, it turns over smoothly but just doesnt fire...im getting quite angry about it because the car was running absolutely fine before we did this, just the pump was a little whiny. if anyone has any ideas what i can do to check it or if anyone has had this problem. any help would be greatly appreciated. thank you. I want you to check just a couple things before we start going elsewhere. There is a vacuum hose the is connected to the bottom of your air intake, for your power steering, I'd like you to check that it is securely connected, as well as your clamps that hold the intake plenum onto the manifold.
