tuchy
I have an '01 Sienna V6. When it's cold I get a clattering sound from the engine compartment between 2100 and about 2700rpm. Once it's warm the noise goes away. The Toyota service dept. says it is normal. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you.
humanoid
Are you using the correct weight of oil?

XR2003
Does the Sienna have a timing belt or chain? If it has a timing chain, then it's normal when the engine is cold.
Leighcm
Belt, I think....but not positive.
